YEAH back to it

Yeah R and I have gone back to the gym AT long last. We both managed to do an hour last night. Ok in all honesty we did
rower - 10 minutes
cross trainer - 10 minutes
arguing over what to do next - 8 minutes
Stepper - (R) 4 minutes - (Me) 3 minutes, my legs could not take it
cross trainer - 5 minutes
weights - about 5 minutes
Recumberant cycle - 2 minutes
As you can see we did not exactly put our all into it - still it was our first sesson back in a long time.There was a huge queue of people trying to get into the gym (all coming back after Xmas I guess). I have been going on the treadmill at home over Xmas which I am pleased about - might as well make us of the blummin huge big thing.

Gym tomorrow HONEST


I am going to the gym tomorrow (Sunday) honestly I am. Have been too

cold
tired
busy
away
shopping
cold
tired etc to go lately....but I so want to get back into a routine with it (even with Xmas coming up). I have been on the treadmill at home
.See pic of me 2003 and this is how slim I want to be again.And I will only get like this again if I follow a healthy eating plan and do plenty of exercise. I think I was about 117 lbs here (at moment I weigh about 147 lbs)

Long Weekend Away

Have not been to the gym cos I have been away on a linedance weekend - where I did lots of dancing (but lots of eating too as we were full board - all meals provided!
Am going to go to the gym Wed after school with R and Friday and the weekend, yes I am.

Gym and Chocolate



Oh yes, I certainly went to the Gym today (was determined to go even though felt v. knackered)
So I did


60 (yes indeed 60) minutes on the treadmill and then 20 minutes minutes on the rower. Must make an effort to vary what I do.....but for the moment doing something is better than nothing.
Caught bus to Heswall (for shopping), had lunch in cafe (healthy) and caught bus home. Did buy some cadburys chocolate and had a small bar (which effectively cancelled out the gym work - arhghghghg). Am planning on doing an hour on my treadmill at home later, for that (silly me).

3pm - and this is how I feel right now.

HOW MANY HOURS AT THE GYM?



SO, R and I got dropped off at the gym at 1045.pm and picked up at 3.15pm PHEW. The time went as such
10 minutes rower 9knnes and hips are complaining here)
10 minutes cross trainer
5 minutes bike (Arghghgh I hate the bike, it makes my lesg ACHE)
10 minutes cross trainer
10 minutes rower (yep...again, ohhhh the punishment)

R and I then went in the pool. We both had goggles on and did lots of handstands. They put a huge inflatable octopus in the pool for the kids to play on.
Then we went to the cafe bit and I had soup and a roll, R had ham naguette. We then wandered back to the gym bit and I did 10 minutes cross trainer then Neil txt'd me to say he was waiting outside (thank goodness!!!!!)
Boy band gym instructor lookalike was not there today. In fact the gym was pretty empty.

Enjoyed the gym






R and I went to the gym last night after I got out of work. I did 20 mins rower, 10 mins step, 15 mins treadmill and 10 mins rower again. Then in the evening I did 2 hours line dancing!
Saw my friend Sue in the gym, she was going to the Salsa class.



Went to the gym again YES AGAIN today and did
10 mins rower
10 mins cross trainer
10 mins rower again
10 minutes cross trainer again and
15 mins treadmill
Then R and I had lunch at the gym - they have a fab cafe, very reasonable prices. It overlooks the gym so we scoffed food and watched people getting fit. I was very good and had a plain chicken salad (was gonna have cheese salad but figgured that was more fattening?)
R and I agreed that one of the gym instructors is rather cute (too old for her and too young for me - ah well)!

Work then gym - how do I do it?




I worked from 8am ish to 12.30pm, then got a lift to the gym (much nicer than waiting at a cold bus stop).Forgot my water bottle so had to buy one from gym (bit expensive).
Managed 30 minutes on treadmill.then 15 minutes on rower but that is all I could do on this as knees were starting to hurt............then I went on the treadmill for another 30 minutes. Meant to go on the weight machines but was aware I needed to catch bus to get R from school (that was not an excuse!)
Braved the scales and ah well......have stayed the same (but ok considering Neil and I ate and drank tons at the weekend.)
Need to build up some stamina at the gym so I can like, workout for longer and not give up. Also must stop avoiding weights machines.
One of the machines I was shown I simply cannot reach (the bar on it is too high) and it (the bar) it attached to a chain. I am supposed to higher the seat to be able to reach the bar. Can't see me doing this somehow.
Couldn't the instructor tell I am a bit on the short side????
Feel pleased I got to the gym as have not been able to go with kids being off school sick.
Might see if Neil will drop me there for an hour tomorrow night???
