Did buy some cadburys chocolate and had a small bar (which effectively cancelled out the gym work - arhghghghg). It overlooks the gym so we scoffed food and watched people getting fit. It is not so easy to do as much with R - she does well (after all she is only 10), but Idefinately do less when with her as she wants attention quite often><br />I aim to do stuff with her though, as this motivates her to do more.<br />So we did 10 minutes on the rowing machine, then 10 minutes on the cross trainer and 10 more minutes on the rower again. Then she did her weights machines and I did 2 of mine (woulda done more but blokes were on the other machines (damn). Then R went in the pool for over half an hour (I will go in too next week)<br /><span style="color:#993300;">I like to people watch a little when I am at the gym - it is interesting to see what type of people are there. I have identified a few so far<br />1 Women who want to lose weight (ie like me) who do not wear trendy gear but wear baggy t-shirts and joggin pants<br />2. Women/girls who are MEGA fit and workout often and are obviously addicted to the gym<br />3. Men who like to work out a lot and push themselves hard<br />4. I had the 2nd half of my induction today. Firstly I went on the recumberant bike (easier than upright bike) but only managed 6 minutes on it (my legs were killing me). Howdo people spend so long on them. Kept glancing round to see if anyone could see how badly I was doing.</span></strong></div></div><br /><br /><p></p><br /><br /><p><span style="font-size:130%;">I had to keep one eye on the clock as I had my induction at 10.30am with Mike. Then when a treadmill was free I went on one of these and did 20 minutes at 5.2 mph (yippeeee fast walking for me). My heart rate was at 140 bpm. I do not think I am very fit.</span></p><br /><p><span style="font-size:130%;">After the treadmill I went to the downstairs gym and was shown 4 of the resistence machines and how to do the 'plank' and some back extensions. Then I went on the treadmill again for 30 minutes - then I decided to go home.</span></p><br /><p><span style="font-size:130%;color:#3333ff;"><strong>I am planning on going the the gym tomorrow with R after school. Usually we do the row machine, the cross trainer, then she does the resistence machines (now I can do mine which are near hers) and then back to the cardio for a short time. I can be SO SO good all ALL day long and then have a couple of hundred cals over in the evening.</span></strong></div><br /><div><strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#cc33cc;"></span></strong></div><br /><div><strong><span style="font-size:130%;color:#cc33cc;">I caught sight of myself in the mirror at the gym last night and was horrified at JUST how BIG I look..............................it was not nice. So, here I am 145 lbs (or 10 st 5 lbs)..............not very tall (4 ft 11 on a good day) and all my weight is around my tummy. My work uniform is getting tighter each day and it is not always easy to keep remembering to 'hold it all in'. <span style="color:#663300;">Today was going to be a good day, but it hasn't turned out that way.
